WALNE ZEBRANIE SPRAWOZDAWCZO-WYBORCZE CZŁONKÓW LUBUSKIEJ REGIONALNEJ ORGANIZACJI TURYSTYCZNEJ „LOTUR”

Wiceprezesami stowarzyszenia zostali Patrycja Górniak (zastępca dyrektora Departamentu Rozwoju Regionalnego reprezentująca Urząd Marszałkowski Województwa Lubuskiego) i Józef Kruczkowski (starosta Powiatu Gorzowskiego). Na członków zarządu wybrano Ryszarda Oleszkiewicza (wójta gminy Łagów) i oraz Zbigniew Rudziński (Oddział PTTK Ziemi Gorzowskiej).
Na członków Komisji Rewizyjnej wybrano Tomasza Jaskułę, Jarosława Wnorowskiego oraz Zbigniewa Włodarczaka.
Stowarzyszenie zostało powołane i zarejestrowane pod koniec 2004 r. na mocy ustaw: o Stowarzyszeniach i o Polskiej Organizacji Turystycznej. Stowarzyszenie z udziałem województwa rozpoczęło działalność pod nazwą Lubuska Organizacja Turystyczna „LOTur". I kadencja zarządu Lubuskiej Organizacji Turystycznej rozpoczęła swoją działalność na początku roku 2005 i zakończyła w sierpniu 2008. Od września 2008 roku rozpoczęła się działalność II kadencji zarządu stowarzyszenia pod obecna nazwą Lubuska Regionalna Organizacja Turystyczna „LOTUR". Minione trzy lata to okres wzmocnienia pozycji stowarzyszenia jako regionalnej organizacji turystycznej w strukturach Polskiej Organizacji Turystycznej oraz instytucji wspierającej rozwój produktów turystycznych i promującej atrakcje województwa lubuskiego zarówno w kraju, jak i za granicą.
Obecnie stowarzyszenie liczy sobie 47 członków, w tym 17 jednostek samorządu terytorialnego, 14 przedsiębiorców branży turystycznej oraz 9 stowarzyszeń.
W ostatnich latach stowarzyszenie promowało nasz region na najważniejszych dla turystyki imprezach targowych w kraju i na międzynarodowych targach turystycznych w Stuttgarcie, Hamburgu, Brukseli, Berlinie, Lipsku oraz uczestniczyło w ważnych innych branżowych wydarzeniach i konferencjach.
W ramach zadań zleconych LOTUR zrealizował m.in. Strategię Rozwoju Gminy Miejskiej Piechowice na lata 2010-2014, regionalne edycje konkursu na najlepszy produkt turystyczny „Lubuska Perła Turystyczna", szkolenia „Zarządzanie produktem turystycznym - upowszechnianie dobrych praktyk" i „Certyfikacja informacji turystycznej z zakresu systemu informacji turystycznej". Stowarzyszenie było też organizatorem lub współorganizatorem licznych konferencji m.in. „Współpraca w zakresie rozwoju i promocji polskiej turystyki", „Lubuskie Turystycznie Aktywne", „Turystyczna Promocja Polski w kontekście UEFA EURO 2012 i szanse dla Lubuskiego". LOTUR prowadzi również na terenie województwa certyfikację punktów Informacji Turystycznej. We własnym zakresie od dwóch lat organizuje również Lubuski Turystyczny Ranking Gmin.
Stowarzyszenie, reprezentując lubuskie, w ostatnich latach było i jest partnerem w innych projektach o zasięgu ponadregionalnym, ogólnopolskim i transgranicznym, m.in. Turystyka Wspólna Sprawa, Partnerstwo dla Odry, Kraina Odry czy Po przygodę na wodę między Wartę i Odrę.
Stowarzyszenie zrealizowało też kilka własnych projektów, takich jak „Zawód Informator Turystyczny" (w ramach EFS Kapitał Ludzki), „Lubuskie Szlaki Nordic Walking" z udziałem środków Ministerstwa Sportu i Turystyki - wytyczając i znakując już blisko 600 km szlaków czy ostatnio „Szlakiem krzyży pokutnych po obu stronach Odry" dofinansowane w ramach Funduszy Małych Projektów (FMP) Euroregionu Sprewa -Nysa-Bóbr.
W latach 2008-2011 przez LOTUR zrealizowanych zostało 21 podróży studyjnych zarówno dla dziennikarzy, touroperatorów jak i branży turystycznej, w których łącznie udział wzięło 120 osób . Efektem tych podróży były liczne artykuły prasowe oraz audycje radiowo-telewizyjne, które skierowane były do turystów zarówno z Polski, z Europy jak i spoza kontynentu. Wszystkie study tour zorganizowane zostały przy ścisłej współpracy naszych członków, partnerów i sympatyków LOTUR. Wizyty studyjne są stale wykorzystywane w budowaniu pozytywnego wizerunku naszego regionu i promowaniu jego atrakcyjności turystycznej w kraju i poza granicami kraju.
Współpraca z Polską Organizacją Turystyczną to przede wszystkim realizacja działań w ramach corocznie podpisywanych porozumień, które w ostatnich latach dotyczyły m.in. uczestnictwa w największych krajowych i zagranicznych targach turystycznych, przyjmowania touroperatorów i zagranicznych dziennikarzy oraz współpracy przy przygotowaniu i druku wydawnictw promujących województwo lubuskie (Hity Lubuskie, Informator Turystyczny każdy w czterech wersjach językowych). LOTUR aktywnie włącza się w realizację Marketingowej Strategii Polski w sektorze turystyki na lata 2008-2015.
Poza działaniami promocyjnymi realizowanymi wspólnie z POT, przedstawiciele LOTUR uczestniczą w konsultacjach, spotkaniach merytorycznych, są członkami problemowych komisji przy POT. Stowarzyszenie brało udział m.in. w współtworzeniu Podręcznika Dobrych Praktyk - dzięki któremu możliwe jest zdefiniowanie problemów i pokazanie najlepszych rozwiązań działania regionalnych organizacji turystycznych skupiających partnerów publicznych i prywatnych, których zadaniem jest wspieranie rozwoju turystyki w regionach i poszczególnych miejscowościach. LOTUR współuczestniczył też w realizacji projektu POT-DZT „Kraina Odry".
Stowarzyszenie ma swoja siedzibę w Zielonej Górze i uruchomiło również filię w Gorzowie Wielkopolskim.
